Newfield Wireless, Inc. is a leading provider of software products and services for wireless network design, optimization, and analysis. We are looking for several talented, intelligent motivated, senior account managers with excellent skills and desire to learn and grow professionally. The right candidates will be motivated, productive self-starters who will be responsible for our relationships with Newfield customers, and will interface closely with our business partners and internal product development and engineering services teams. Newfield is based in Berkeley, CA, but these positions can be located in any major metropolitan area of the US, including Dallas, Atlanta, Chicago, Washington, DC, NY/NJ or Boston.
Primary Responsibilities
- Be Newfield's first point-of-contact with one or more wireless network operator customers in North America
- Manage the sales process, from trial phase to market roll-out and training
- Train customer RF engineers on planning and optimization software, methods, procedures, as well as help them get the most out of our consulting services
- Support software development efforts by specifying new features or recommending enhancements to existing software capabilities, based on customer feedback
Minimum Requirements
- BSEE in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Three or more years experience selling software and/or consulting services to wireless network operators, preferably in the RF engineering/system performance realm.
- Excellent understanding of one or more air interfaces (CDMA, UMTS, LTE)
- Experience in system design/engineering, link budget and traffic analysis
- Highly skilled with RF network planning tools (e.g., Asset, Atoll, Geoplan, Planet)
- Quick learner, self-motivated, with strong attention to detail, and customer service orientation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience making formal presentations
- Very strong industry references who can attest to the above and confirm that you are a top performer
Desirable Skills and/or Experience
- MSEE, MBA, PMP or other advanced degree/certification
- In-depth understanding of radio frequency propagation, propagation modeling, RF test equipment
- Experience working with RF planning software design engineers
- Experience with data analysis, plotting, presentation software
